The term slut has a very poor conitation. I think you more a selfish person. According to slut-dating.com, Sluts sleep around, nothing more. If you are cheating on someone that doesn't make you a slut. You may have a relationship with 2 people and forgot to tell one of the people. This situation would make you a cheater. That is another category all together.
